The Orphanage in Bamako exists since 1956. In 2018 Ms Bouaré Fatumata Koné became the new Director, responsible for 291 children, 49 disabled children included. For BENKADI she is a competent and credible partner.

All together the house has 106 employees. Ca. 60 caretakers are working round the clock. BENKADI is financing 6 of them as well as the purchase of milk powder and napkins; the association helps the family Dohmann-Pfälzner in supporting of the donators and keeps in touch with the orphanage.
