BENKADI’s President, Dr Edda Brandes together with the social anthropologist, Dr Mama Kamaté, initiated the Town twinning between Fangasso, Cercle of Tominian/Mali and Rheinsberg, 80 km in the north of Berlin/Germany in 1993. Since then, she is the mediator between the populations on both sides, supporting communication and exchange, helping with donations in emergency situations as well as delivering financial support for the school.
